We believe we can make a difference
At CareCompare, our purpose is to make the process of finding home care easier.
We believe that you, and every other Australian, have the right to choose the best possible home care provider for you or your loved ones, based on transparent and easy-to-compare information. No more impossible-to-understand rates. No more hidden fees. It’s time to compare apples to apples.
We support home care customers, like you, with tools that allow you to make informed and well-validated decisions about the quality of your care and the choice of whom you invite into your home.
Who we are
CareCompare was founded based on our team’s own experiences with the Aged Care sector. We are people just like you, frustrated with the current information available and lack of control. Older Australians and their families should not have to wage an uphill battle just to continue to live with decency, unburdened, in their own homes.
We are independent
CareCompare is 100% independent, and we have made it our mission to bring transparency to the home care industry. By being your advocate for quality home care and ensuring you have a real choice, we will endeavour to make home care better for everyone.
We do not receive payments or commissions from Home Care Providers.
What we do
The road to improving aged care isn’t an easy one. In October 2019, the Australian Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety released its interim report, Aged Care in Australia: Neglect. It highlights the shortcomings of Australia's aged care services and refers to a concerning lack of transparency within the Home Care Package Program.
That’s where we believe we can make a difference. With the Commonwealth Government committing to more and more home care funding over the coming years, the capacity to allow people to live at home longer means a brighter future moving forward. We are addressing the need for an independent source of comparable information about Home Care Package providers.
We are there at every step, to ensure you have access to the most comprehensive and transparent provider information available. We coordinate with providers, source data from both government and non-government agencies and translate it into a meaningful experience to put the power back in your hands.
Do you need support navigating the home care system or have questions about what we do?
